Synchronicity
is one of the most important concepts developed by Carl Jung. In an early lecture, Jung
said, "Synchronism is the prejudice of the East, causality is the modern prejudice of
the West." In essence, Synchronicity deals with "creative acts" that enter our lives.
Working with physicist Wolfgang Pauli, Jung was able to build a bridge between physics and
psychology that resulted in what he called Synchronicity . In science today, and particulary
in cosmology, there is a grand struggle underway over the reality or non reality of meaning
in the universe. Dr. Mackey will take us into the heart of this exciting debate and reflect
on its implications for our place in the universe.
