Small Group Experience

     The C. G. Jung Society of Sarasota is offering a seminar lead by Earl Mackey, entitled "An Introduction to the Writing of John P. Dourley: Mysticism, Christianity, and the Jungian Myth". This seminar will provide a context for Dr. Dourley's November 9 lecture: A Jungian Response to the Clash of Civilizations and November 10 workshop: Jung and the Societal Implications of Religion and Mysticism. Dr. Dourley is an internationally acclaimed writer, Professor Emeritus of Religion Studies at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, and a graduate of the C. G. Jung Institute in Zurich.
     The Class will begin on October 4, 2007at 7:00 p.m. at Argosy University and continue for six sessions on alternating Thursdays.

Earl Mackey
has been working with Jungian ideas for over 30 years and seeks to integrate them with ideas drawn from many spiritual traditions, along with contemporary film, literature, and science. Trained as a lawyer, his professional work has focused on public policy and ethics issues both in the U.S. and abroad. He currently serves his second term on the Board of the C. G. Jung Society.
